• The curriculum is a modern relevant learning framework which is constantly evolving. It is personalised and by this, we mean it is driven by pupil interests, assessment needs, varied learning styles and approaches and where possible rooted in our local context.

  • In line with most schools, we work from and develop the National Curriculum to meet our children’s needs. In doing this we place a high emphasis on basic skills and our children achieve well.

  • Our teachers work in networking groups with other teachers across The Forge Trust to develop subject planning and expectations.  These plans are then adapted to our local circumstances.

  • We currently use White Rose Maths Hub http://whiterosemathshub.co.uk/free-learning-schemes/ to help with our maths planning.

  • In phonics, our teachers use  Letters and Sounds, produced by the DfE.  For reading books, at Key Stage 1 we use Collins Big Cat book, phonically decodable books, to support the learning of reading and phonics.  We use book banded books in KS2, along with some phonically decodable books.

  • We follow the Lincolnshire RE Syllabus: http://lincolndiocesaneducation.com/religious-education/lincolnshire-locally-agreed-syllabus-for-re-2018/
