Train to teach in a Forge Trust School
Have you ever thought about a career in teaching but not known how to go about it?
Do you already have an undergraduate degree?
Are you thinking about a change in career?
If the answer to any of the above is Yes, then The Forge Trust may be able to help.
We’re part of the School Direct Training programme and as such, we have places available for people who want to train to teach.
Our School Direct Training programme is run in partnership with Bishop Grosseteste University. The route into teaching involves being placed in schools within our Trust and developing further professional knowledge through sessions at the University. Through this route you will not only be supported in achieving Qualified Teacher Status but you will also receive a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) qualification from Bishop Grosseteste University.
Bishop Grosseteste University has a long established history in training teachers dating back to 1862. More importantly, BGU has continued to be at the cutting edge of teacher education and enjoys excellent results in both student satisfaction and employability.
If you, or anyone you know, is interested in a career in teaching get in touch and find out more about our School Direct programmes starting in September 2018.
